Research and Development is in the core of Echothrust's philosophy, aiming at expanding our knowledge and come up with prototypes to address today's IT needs. Our research expands into a wide range of areas such as management, security, authentication, monitoring, logging and much more.

Our research falls under two distinct categories:

• Internal consumption, research that starts as hobby projects, filling a gap into our internal network and daily operations. These projects later end up in our site as opensource software, freely available for everyone.
• Customer based, research that starts based on specific customer needs. We research, get feedback, work on prototypes and finally build the end solution.
