I know what you're asking. When was Puffy Flock v0.1 ever announced? Never, you are right. Well, actually we've been hiding this one for a while but only because we wanted to make it more stable before it was to be released. Although it is still in early development we think it is usable enough and could take some testing from those of you who will be interested.
We just made available our first public version of Puffy Flock v0.2. If you have ever wondered what resources are available for OpenBSD then this is the place for you. Puffy Flock allows a group of people to contribute links on a subject while browsing. Say you come across a nice tutorial about how to make a live CD for OpenBSD, you click on the provided bookmarklet (it works for both IE and Firefox, don't know about Opera at the moment) and you're done.
You need to be registered and logged in first but this is only to avoid abuse. The registration does not require any special details so feel free to register (not even email). Please be considerate though, don't spam with submissions of useless links.
The source code of the project is available under a BSD License and can be found on the Puffy Flock downloads page. You can find more information on the Puffy Flock project homepage.
Our very own Puffy Flock OpenBSD resource repository is already available for your enjoyment. For now there is almost 200 resources available on the directory and it is mostly things that we have come across and found interesting.
Finally, if you like to help on the tidying up and maintenance (you will become a moderator) of Puffy Flock please drop a note and we will let you know. If you find any bugs please report them on the Puffy Flock Issue Tracker.
We hope you like Puffy Flock, please let us know what you think. Comments are more than welcome.
