Running on OpenBSD - Multiple Gateway System (0x04)

Here we are again with another episode of "Running on OpenBSD" that describes how we configured a system with multiple gateway interfaces, allowing equal distribution of connections among them. The system was asked by an Internet Cafe with multiple ADSL connections that needed a better solution than the one already in place.

We will describe the requirements and setup of the system we finally installed along with some notes on the ideas behind each decision. As always the system was OpenBSD and the provided ports.

Running on OpenBSD - Having fun with Xnest (0x03)

Here we are with another episode of "Running on OpenBSD". I believe most of the questions were answered, (please let me know if i skipped your question). So instead of letting the series die I thought we cover details of certain tools that helped us.

During the preparation of our workstations we needed to start and restart our X session in order for certain changes to be made visible. However, this was extremely time consuming and thus made our experimentation more difficult. It was obvious that we needed a way to work into a virtual X server, enter the Xnest domain.

New project Puffy Flock v0.2 testers wanted

I know what you're asking. When was Puffy Flock v0.1 ever announced? Never, you are right. Well, actually we've been hiding this one for a while but only because we wanted to make it more stable before it was to be released. Although it is still in early development we think it is usable enough and could take some testing from those of you who will be interested.

Running on OpenBSD - Answers 0x01 (Hardware)

Here we go with another "episode" of Running on OpenBSD which will focus on hardware related questions that you made. Although there is not much to say about the hardware used I will try to outline as much details possible without making the post utterly boring.

As always if I missed anything that you would like to know, make sure you post a comment and I'll include it in future updates.
